Rex - Brazilian Jiu Jitsu coach

Portland, Oregon.

Rex’s interest in martial arts began with wrestling in high school. After graduating high school Rex moved from California to the Pacific Northwest and left martial arts behind until 2007 when he found New Breed Jiu-Jitsu Academy in Portland, Oregon. Immediately he began training at New Breed Jiu-Jitsu Academy under Master Eben Kaneshiro and received his Blue Belt in 2009.

Rex began coaching children’s sports in 1999 and has been an instructor for the children’s jiu-jitsu program at New Breed Jiu-Jitsu Academy since 2009. He enjoys working with the children and watching them have fun as they learn Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu.
